Expanding gritting fleet for 2020

WILKENPLANT contractors expands gritting fleet for 2020, due to company growth we have added more trailer gritters to our growing vale engineering fleet. These robust trailer gritters are great for gritting car parks and yards and will be working in the Aberdeen/shire & Moray areas.
Something different for the team! Today we were called out to assist BAM Nuttall in the safe delivery of 2 large 110 Tonne transformers for a new substation build. The team were faced with continuous snow showers but did a great job keeping the roads snow & ice free.
WILKENPLANT contractors takes delivery of a new JCB Fastrac, We are delighted to add a jcb fastrac to our portfolio of machinery, it ticks all the boxes for our works with its high horse power & high safety standards. It is fitted with high flotation tyres, front lift and can come with a front loader making it very versatile machine.
We are delighted to have been awarded a large winter maintenance contract with NHV Helicopters at their new Aberdeen Base, works include Liquid de-icer spraying, Salt gritting and Snow clearing & removal services.
